Racing 2008

The NFCC Sponsors 4 River races and 5 Ocean races. Notable among these are the area’s first Women’s regatta, and the only premiere Ocean racing series in North Florida, the First Coast Offshore Challenge. (FCOC)

Racers not only get Awards and trophies for our races, but are also eligible for additional trophies for participation in the FCSA Spring, Ocean, and Fall Racing Series.

We are very proud that the Women’s Regatta, now known as the “Hands on-the-Helm for Hubbard House” is a successful charity regatta benefiting Hubbard House, a Jacksonville, FL battered women’s shelter.

In addition, our FCOC regatta is a successful charity regatta which, from 2004 through 2008, generated proceeds benefiting Safe Harbor Boys Home, a local home/shelter for troubled youth. The beneficiary for the 2009 regatta is TBA.
